Here in south Texas we just don't get snow, it's mostly an icy mix which tends to shut everything down. People in the south just aren't equipped to drive in the snow. I worked last night and my mom texts me that it's sleeting to be careful driving home. My brother works in Helotes, I live a bit south of there. Helotes and north actually got a nice thin layer of snow. What did I get? Dipping Dots!
I thought it was hilarious. My house got a teeeeeeny tiny collection on the roof it was cute.
Evey desperately wants it to snow, like winter wonderland snow. We are going to have to take a vacation for that though. I don't know how people do it, walking out of work this morning I couldn't feel my ears! It was so cold. Mark use to be stationed in Minot, I can't even fathom temperatures that low! Cold is no big deal for him, I'm the one who is going to look like that kid on a Christmas story all bundled up. I'm okay with it in small doses like a few days at a time. Living in it would definitely take some getting use to.
Tomorrow is going to be a busy day, I have a bunch of errands to run and then it's off to the rodeo for a girls night out. We are going to see Jake Owen, I'm so excited!!! I'll definitely have to post about the rodeo, I'm for sure going to see two concerts and then go at least one more time to take the girls.
